Belated update:

  • Added hit marker and new particle effects to increase visual feedback when hitting enemies
  • Added screen shake to increase feedback when being hit
  • Changed magazine/reserve ammo UI to be more clear
  • Replaced placeholder reload progress bar with a ring so that it doesn't obscure the crosshair
  • Changed default keybinds for sprint and dodge to being shift and ctrl respectively
  • Slowed enemy bullets and tweaked their AI movement patterns to try and make them less in-sync with each other
  • Gave more control while in the air after kicking off a wall, allowing for scaling buildings
